10th of May 7-9:30pm
At THE HEARTH studio, Selkirk, Scottish Borders.
What is the pagan point? What the word ‘Pagan’ means in it’s rawest primal sense?
It is your inherent, primal, ancient, deep connection with nature spirits, nature forces, the elements, it is from where you commune with the web of life.
The pagan point steers our primal need to live in harmony with all creatures, it is the part that craves the sacred union of all that is. It is your centre for your instinctual self and that part of you that senses if the earth is safe, if the bridge is safe, if that mountain trail is safe, if a person is a threat, if a place is a threat.
The pagan point is the seat of your intuition.
Other ways we can recognise the Pagan Self:
There is a natural rawness in our nature despite our modern life styles. Underneath, we are all unbelievably free and raw. The craving we have to to do "crazy" things:
– Dancing naked under the full moon
– Jumping fires at the summer solstice
– Plunging into ice cold water
– Urge to visit power places such as stone circles
– The need to do ceremony
Those urges are the 'Pagan Self' knocking at your door.
When your Pagan Point is generally open:
– You may have a voice in you saying ‘I feel safe, I am in harmony with the powers of life – I live life to the fullest’ etc.
– If you can ask Spirit freely ‘what do you want me to do down here?’ and you can follow the given guidance without fears. Meaning your sense of safety is not ruled by what you ‘have’, but by your trust in life and in the guidance you receive – simply ‘knowing’ you will be taken care of at all times.
The Pagan Point, your Primal Nature, is what grounds you into life, it is rooting you right into your daily existence.
You were born with the Pagan Point, your Primal Nature, all it needs at times is activating it, easier access.
On this day we will enter ceremonial to plug you in, activate that place in you, deeply connect you with your pagan point.
CEREMONY:
Cacao Ceremony:
We begin our journey with a cacao ceremony, to open ourselves and our hearts to the pagan point ceremony. Ceremonial cacao has the power to attune us to our bodies, feelings, emotions and our Mother Earth, which is in alignement with the intention for your evening, to connect with our primal selves, our instincts and our intuition.
Following from Cacao Ceremony is the Dance of Fire.
Dance of Fire:
Toltec practice in preparation for the Pagan Point Ritual.
Intention -To free your mind and body, shake off self-importance, let the body do it, no thinking of what and how. Become empty!
Once dance is complete we enter the last phase of our ceremony.
Visualisation for Contacting the Pagan Point.
This part consists of guided visualisation followed by a last dance.
Sound Healing:
We close our time together with soft sound bath to suppport the settling of the energy, and grounding.
Bring with you:
*Journal and pen/pencil.
*A mat to sit/lay on.
*Cup for cacao.
*Water bottle.
