THE HEARTH studio came into being in May 2024 through the rebirthing of a 150 year old corrugated iron church hall located in the centre of Selkirk, in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

We absolutely loved the character of the old building, its quirky feeling and rich history in the community. So in 2023 we took on the monumental task of renovating it and bringing it back to life.

The space now feels AMAZING. The expression on the faces as people enter is worth all of the hard work. We designed and created everything with intention, love and care. Most commonly people say "it feels like a temple", for others it conjures up an old barn church being reclaimed by nature. There is something sacred about the space.

THE HEARTH is the perfect place for half or full day workshops, weekend events and ceremonies.

The studio has the capacity for 18/20 yoga mats, whether they are displayed in a circle or side to side facing the front.
We have to offer 12 hight manduka quality yoga mats and 10 recycled thick wool blankets.

When hiring THE HEARTH studio you will have access to 2 toilets, a kitchen, a cosy room and the main hall. There is also ample parking nearby.
